SV Stripfing suffered a bitter defeat on the ninth day of the Regionalliga Ost. The Djuricin squad loses the top game at TWL Elektra with 0:1.
The hosts only took the lead at Raxplatz in the final phase, Taner Sen (84th) scored the only goal of the evening in the 84th minute of the game. Stripfing finds no answer to the goal and concedes the first defeat of the season.
In the table, TWL Elektra (20 points) comes close to the strip fingers (22) to within two points.
Sports club leaves points
The Wiener Sport-Club had to settle for a 1-1 draw at FC Marchfeld Donauauen. Jakub Vodlika (43′) scored the opening goal for the home side, which Miroslav Milosevic (72′) equalized in the second half.
ASV Siegendorf loses the Burgenland duel against SC Neusiedl/See with 0:2. Konstantin Breuer (29th) and Patrick Kienzl (43rd) score for the away team.
Bruck/Leitha beat Scheiblingkirchen-Warth 1-0 thanks to Matus Paukner’s penalty (65′).
Wiener Sport-Club (16 points) is fourth, followed by Scheiblingkirchen-Warth (15) and FC Marchfeld Donauauen (14). Neusiedl/See (12) is eighth, Bruck/Leitha (10) tenth. ASV Siegendorf is in eleventh place with nine points.
