This is the product “Giovanni Ferrari Grana Padano Riserva”, as the online portal “Product Warning” reports. Accordingly, the manufacturer Savencia Fromage & Dairy Deutschland GmbH informed about the recall.

It is about the piece with the best before date December 24, 2022 and the batch: L.20145, which is also available from Rewe and other grocery stores.

According to the company, a small number of the mentioned product was delivered with a back label without a German marking.

Rewe, Globus and Co.: Ingredients are missing on the product

Accordingly, the ingredients raw cow’s milk and lysozyme (from hen’s egg white) are components of the usual product recipe. Therefore, it poses a health risk to consumers who must avoid these ingredients due to milk or egg allergies.

Anyone who bought the above product without a German label can return it to the respective store, such as Rewe, Globus and Co., for a refund of the purchase price. A receipt is not required.
