Panama has a team to qualify for the World Baseball Classic

Although it is not the definitive roster, Panama will have a competitive team to achieve one of the two available spots for the World Baseball Classic in the qualifying round for this important baseball event.

Yesterday, the Panamanian Baseball Federation (Fedebeis) revealed a pre-list of players, which looks balanced for the tie, which will be played from September 30 to October 5 at the Rod Carew Stadium, in Panama City.

The list highlights units that have seen action in the Major Leagues such as Randall Delgado, Enrique Burgos, Alberto Baldonado, Allen Cordoba, Rubén Tejada, Ariel Jurado, Davis Romero, Severino González and Jonathan Araúz.

One major leaguer who also appears on the list is infielder Johan Camargo. However, his presence in the tournament depends on a medical evaluation, since he is recovering from an injury that separated him from the activity.
