“My last name is hard to remember, but if you remember it, you won’t forget it”: Puskepalis’ last interview

The news of the actor’s death shocked literally everyone. Loyal fans of Sergei still do not want to believe that the idol is no more … On October 6, the film “Heart of Parma” is released on the screen, in which Puskepalis played one of the leading roles. A few weeks before the tragedy, the filmmaker managed to tell reporters about his work in the film.

“The most aggravating circumstance for me in this project was a beard, or rather beards,” the artist shared. — My character, governor Poljud, had several of them: my character lives on the screen for a long period of time, his appearance changes. So, “vegetation” was constantly glued to my face, which behaved differently in different temperature conditions – we filmed both in the summer heat and in severe frosts. But there were no difficulties in the battle scenes: thanks to the brilliant stuntmen led by Dmitry Tarasenko … The place where we filmed is the village of Gubakha, a very famous ski resort in the Perm Territory. It’s incredibly beautiful there.”

During the conversation, Sergei remembered a funny story related to the surname. “Once, I remember, they wrote “Puskepalets”. But I never paid attention to it. He always said about this: “It’s hard to remember my last name, but if you remember, you won’t forget,” the actor said.
