The activity was carried out around the concept of democracy, which next year will celebrate 40 years of uninterrupted continuity, and had as axes the exercise of common memory and the celebration of community participation.
To this end, various exhibitions, conferences and workshops were held that also addressed aspects related to Comprehensive Sex Educationthe environment, digital culture, initial literacy and citizen construction.
In that direction, the governor stressed that “This space has the purpose of promoting that transformation in a particular way: with the democratic participation of those who are preparing to be teachers”. “This is a day of reflection, in which we seek to listen to their voice, to know what they think, what they dream of and what they propose to improve public education in Buenos Aires,” he added.
Axel Kicillof was accompanied by the General Director of Culture and Education, Alberto Siloni; the government minister, Cristina Alvarez Rodriguez; the mayor of General Alvarado, Sebastian Iantuony; and the provincial director of Higher Education, Marisa Gory.
For his part, Sileoni emphasized that “the public school of Buenos Aires will depend in the next 30 years on those who today are trained to be teachers: we have full confidence in their values and in the passion they bring to continue with this process of transformation. ”.
Within this framework, the General Director of Culture and Education announced the creation of a consultive advice representative of the students of the teacher training careers, in which 50 students will have a space for reflection to delve into the pedagogical lines.
From this third Open Town Hall, organized by the Provincial Directorate of Higher Educationstudents from the teacher training careers of Region 19 were part of it, which includes the municipalities of General Pueyrredon, little sea Y General Alvarado. Previous editions had been held in Mount Beautiful Y Admiral Brown.
