CDMX.- Derived from the actions to review merchandise and compliance with the National Strategy for Public Security and the Zero Impunity Policy of the Government of Mexico, the National Customs Agency of Mexico (ANAM)by Horacio Duarte Olivares, seized 440 kilograms of apparent methamphetamine detected by a canine binomial.
The action was carried out in one of the controlled precincts of the customs of the International Airport of Mexico City (AICM), in which a canine sensor, led by its handler, detected the presence of the illicit substance inside 20 plastic boats. that They were destined for the city of Victoria, in Australia.
Once the canine binomial marked the detection, AICM customs personnel proceeded to pick up a sample of the beige pasty substance, which was later sent to the Central Customs Laboratory of Mexico, which confirmed the presence of methamphetamine.
