VSV must stand up against Pioneers

Villach – Thursday, 09/22/2022, 09:47 a.m

The VSV gets it on Thursday (from 7:15 p.m. in the LIVE Ticker) in the early 26th round of the win2day ICE Hockey League with the Pioneers Vorarlberg.

For the Villach it is about the first points of the current season. Both against Black Wings Linz (1:2) and against Pustertal (2:4) there were defeats at the start of the season.

After a defeat in Bozen (0:3) against KAC (2:1), Vorarlberg scored the first three-pointer.

“It will be anything but easy against the league newcomers from Feldkirch, they are a hard-playing and fighting team. But we want to focus on our game, implement our system and act as a unit,” says VSV head coach Rob Daum route ahead.

“There’s no question: we have to improve, act more callously offensively,” Daum knows that VSV still has a lot of catching up to do. “But you shouldn’t think too much about why the disc doesn’t bounce into the goal, but just keep working hard. Then success will come.”
