SC Austria Lustenau lost 5-2 to FC Augsburg in a friendly on Thursday.
Former Salzburg player Mergim Berisha put the German Bundesliga side ahead with a hat-trick in the first half (8′, 27′, 38′) before Torben Rhein scored the connection before the break (43′).
In the second half, Berisha scored his fourth goal (52′). After Mads Pedersen (82′) made it 5-1, Henri Koudossou (87′) scored the second goal for Vorarlberg.
Victory for Altach, WSG Tirol loses
SCR Altach is also in action on Thursday, defeating second division club FC Dornbirn 2-0. Noah Bischof (37′, 48′) scored both goals for Miroslav Klose’s team.
The WSG Tirol is defeated by the German third division club 1860 Munich with 0:1. Admira beat Hungarian second division side Haladas 2-1. Angelo Gattermayer (72′) and Martin Krienzer (88′) score after Haladas took the lead.
