The 17th minute was passing when the player from the MLS team dared to shoot with his right foot from his own area to beat the red and black goalkeeper José Hernández, who was ahead, so he could not stop the ball. The target advanced the marker to the royals 1-0.
The impressive goal did not impact La Academia, which came from behind to reach halftime with a tie thanks to a goal from Zaldívar (40′) and finish off the rival at 71′ with a goal from Lucas Rodríguez.
