The National Police has arrested two British citizens who cooked and sold marijuana jellies in Tenerife in a place they ran in the town of Adeje where, under the guise of a cannabis club, they fraudulently sold narcotic products that they manufactured in a home of the Los Cristianos area.

In its work of surveillance and control of crimes against public health and drug use, the National Police was aware that a cannabis club located in Adeje illegally trafficked narcotic substances.

Carrying out investigative steps, he was able to find those responsible for it, relating them to an address in Los Cristianos, in Arona. Thus, an entry and search warrant was requested from the competent judicial authority, who authorized said measure.

Subsequently, a double device was set up in the premises and the home, resulting in the arrest of two 24-year-old British citizens and residents of the same urbanization, without criminal records, who had a plantation there of some 85 marijuana plants in a state of growth, 4,500 grams of hashish, 5,400 grams of marijuana already prepared for sale and distribution, as well as material for the manufacture and preparation of other products, such as oils and resins and even jellies impregnated with THC, the active ingredient in cannabis.

A 125 cc motorcycle and a car were also seized, as well as 31,000 euros in cash, as assets from criminal activity. The operation was carried out by officials of the Local Judicial Police Brigade of the South of Tenerife, in Adeje, who had the participation of the Local Citizen Security Brigade in the entry and registration devices. The detainees were placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.
