The day of your own wedding At best, you only experience it once – all the more annoying when the special event falls on the same day as a worldwide event of the century.

A bride who got married on the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s death had to experience this: her mother-in-law turned a happy one into a happy one wedding a funeral event.

Wedding is overshadowed by Queen’s death because mother-in-law does THIS

After six years, a woman finally wanted to marry her boyfriend – but chance made sure that the wedding stood in the shadow of a famous death. The family of the groom Matt was only interested in the death of the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II, as reported by the British “Mirror” with reference to the online forum “Reddit”.

The bride’s mother-in-law, Jane, even suggested postponing the wedding out of respect for the monarch – but the couple stuck to the date. On the big day, a nasty surprise suddenly awaited: Jane appeared in an all-black suit without warning.

“We were in mourning and wanted to be respectful,” Jane explained her choice of dress. The groom’s sister also wore black, as did “70 percent of Matt’s guests,” reports the frustrated bride. Later in the day, it emerged that the mother-in-law had asked the guests for a black outfit in advance to honor Queen Elizabeth II.

But that was not all.

Wedding: At the reception, the guests left to mourn

At the post-wedding reception, some guests left early, so the bride’s maid of honor went in search of them. “They were in another room with a TV playing footage of the queue and they were having a ‘prayer circle’ where they shared their ‘memories.’ Many of them cried.”

When asked by the bride to come back to the party for the bride and groom’s first dance, the mother-in-law only replied, “They’re busy celebrating a great woman, which I think suggests I’m the opposite,” he says the bride.

She reacted angrily to her mother-in-law’s words, accusing her of selfishness and ruining her son’s wedding day for someone she had never met. In retrospect, however, the bride has a guilty conscience about her behavior, according to “Mirror” on Reddit asked for opinions – and was right: “Tell her that Queen Elizabeth II was only about family and loved ones. She ruined her son’s wedding in the name of the queen, who was ashamed of her actions,” is just one of the understanding comments on the wedding Zoff.
