A neighbor began to smell something foul, which made him realize that he had not seen anyone in the house in the last few weeks, so he called the Police.
This Monday, the Rhode Island Police (USA) found two “severely decomposed” bodies in the house of a former mayor. Police Chief Thomas Oates told him said told WPRI 12 News that “an old woman and an old man” were found dead inside the residence. The boss also confirmed that the house belongs to Susan Menard, who served as Mayor of Woonsocket from 1995 to 2009. The police chief did not confirm if she was one of the victims.
Oates also reported that a neighbor began to smell something foul, which made him realize that he had not seen anyone in the house in weeks, so he called the Police, who made a forced entry through a back window on the first floor, and found the woman in one room and the man in another. The medical examiner removed the bodies from the residence, and authorities stated that there is no suspicion of criminal behavior based on their investigation, which is ongoing.
