Ligue 1 (France)

Julian Nagelsmann’s team is in fifth place, five points behind the leading Union.
Berlin “Union” – the best team in the league after seven rounds, scored 17 points with a goal difference of 15:4. Separately, it is worth highlighting a draw against Bayern (1:1) and a victory against RB Leipzig (3:1).
Serie A (Italy)
In Italy, unlike other leagues, eyes widen when looking at the table and it is impossible to single out one thing, so the following surprises can be summarized:
– Juventus out of European competition. The Turin club continues to rebuild, which is very, very difficult. At the moment, the recent flagship of Italian football is only eighth. On points, Juve are closer to relegation than to first place.
– Atalanta is in the lead. Despite the summer rumors about the resignation of Gian Piero Gasperini and the global renewal of the squad, the Italian managed to cope with the difficulties and elevate the former Miranchuk club to second place. In seven matches, Atalanta has five wins, three goals conceded and bright prospects for a place in the Champions League.
– Progress “Udinese”. The average Italian club is impressive, especially after finishing 12th last year. At the moment, the club is ahead of Milan, Roma, Juventus and other top teams, only one point behind the leaders.
– The Napoli Fairy. The Neapolitan club, like Atalanta, has experienced many departures, the more surprising that it is he who is ahead of the Bergamasks in terms of goal difference, thanks to which he leads Serie A. Napoli, under the leadership of Luciano Spalletti and with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, seriously set their sights on the championship in attack, which has not been since 1990.
Premier League (England)
In recent years, the Premier League has taught that in the first and second places there is always someone from the Liverpool-Manchester City pair, but after seven rounds there is a different leader. If not for one defeat from Manchester United (1:3), then Arsenal would have scored the maximum possible number of points, but even 18 points are amazing. This was enough to single-handedly gain a foothold on the first line before the international pause.
Fulham scored seven points less than the Gunners – and this was enough to drop into the European Cup zone. This is an outstanding result, because even last season the summer residents played in the Championship. Separately, it is worth highlighting Alexander Mitrovic, who finally successfully entered the season and after seven rounds he scored six goals.
