The data was revealed by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigú.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu revealed on Wednesday that the number of Russian soldiers killed in the conflict in Ukraine is 5,937.

Ukraine itself has already lost about half of its Army, Shoigu stressed. “Ukraine was represented by about 201,000 or 202,000 people. During this time, they lost more than 100,000 of these troops,” he stated.

The latest figures revealed by the minister indicate that Ukraine has lost 61,207 troops and has another 49,368 who are wounded. He added that for this reason they have already had the fourth wave of mobilization.

He noted that more than 2,000 foreign mercenaries had been killed and that little more than 1,000 currently remained in Ukraine.

More information, soon.
