CDMX.- Marko Cortés, national president of the PAN, reiterated that there is no dialogue or trust in the national leadership of the PRI due to the betrayal of Alejandro “Alito” Moreno and stressed that the negotiations and agreements of the Va por México collation with that party to the State of Mexico ahead of the 2023 elections are suspended until the process of militarization reform is completed in the Senate.
“The word, the platform and the constitutional moratorium were breached, of course there is no trust in the national leadership of the PRI,” he argued.
“There is no trust and there is no dialogue with the national leadership of the PRI because they dishonored their word and did not abide by the popular mandate of the 2021 polls to care for and defend Mexico, which expressly says that the continuation of the militarization of the country would be prevented,” pointed.
He explained that “the relationship and trust with” Alito “is totally damaged” by arguing that “whoever betrays once and breaks his word, can break many times.”
“It is very clear that trust was lost,” said Cortés Mendoza, who clarified that the Va por México agreements for the 2023 elections are suspended.
However, he said that “respect for other parties is peace. Only that there are signed agreements, there are public commitments that have to be honored and that have a popular mandate, therefore, we are going to look for those parties who have the courage and consistency to honor them.”
