Vitaly Kafanov spoke about the hidden abilities of the head coach of the Russian national football team Valery Karpin.

“The dribble kick is hard to hit, but he has it set. Goalkeepers don’t have stress, it’s training, workflow, other players also score. But it is clear that Karpin is apart. He’s got a hit. Without a warm-up in sneakers, he can approach the ball and score, ”Kafanov quotes “Match TV”.

According to the goalkeeping coach of the national team, no one in the team can compare with the skills of Karpin.

“Can someone in the national team score like that? To nine out of ten is unlikely. It takes a lot of reps to hit like that. This is a Soviet school and a huge amount of work,” Kafanov concluded.

On September 24, the Russian national team will play a control match against the Kyrgyz team in Bishkek.

Four goalkeepers were called to the training camp: Anton Shunin (Dynamo), Mikhail Kerzhakov (Zenith), Matvey Safonov (Krasnodar) and Ivan Lomaev (Wings of the Soviets).
