Former coach Ngannou turned out to be a bad person

The UFC has signed undefeated heavyweight Slim Trabelsi from a French promotion led by coach Fernando Lopez. Trabelsi was under contract with Ares FC, and Lopez promised to release him, but this did not happen.

“I signed a contract with Ares FC for four fights, Lopez assured me that if I signed in the UFC, he would let me not finalize the contract and let me go. I trusted him. But when Ali Abdelaziz signed me to the UFC, Lopez blocked the contract, arguing that I had to finalize the contract with Ares FC.

Fernando called Ali and demanded 90 thousand euros to let me go to the UFC. In response, Ali offered him a percentage of my contract, but Lopez did not agree.

The UFC did not look into the situation, but simply fired Slim Trabelsi.

Francis Ngannou has repeatedly argued that his former coach is not a decent person. Now his words are confirmed, Lopez wanted to make money on the athlete and planned to do it in the meanest way. The UFC will not sign a fighter who finds himself in such a situation, formally he is to blame.
