The Schalke fans were amazed when Rodrigo Zalazar was substituted on in the 81st (!) minute of the Revierderby defeat (0:1). After a strong start to the season, the Uruguayan has lost his regular place and has only been on the field for 315 of 630 minutes.
Now the “Bild” newspaper reports that there was a violent crash between S04 coach Frank Kramer and the midfielder in the run-up to the game against BVB. It is said to have been about the deployment times of Zalazar.
Kramer is said to have accused the fan favorite of not doing enough for his fitness. Zalazar is said to have broken off the conversation angrily. But did that really happen? The 23-year-old reported immediately with clear words on Instagram.

“I got a lot of messages about a report. Everything in this report is a lie. I never had a bad conversation with the coach,” Zalazar clarifies.
And the midfielder adds: “Whenever we talk, we have positive conversations. I will always respect the coach’s decision.”

Zalazar provided his message with a blue and white heart and a photo in which he high-fives coach Kramer. The Uruguayan is certainly not satisfied with his playing times, but with the statement he made it clear that he and his coach have no problems.
