Florian Kohfeldt is looking for a club after retiring as head coach of VfL Wolfsburg in mid-May.
However, this could soon come to an end. As “Sky” reports, the 39-year-old German should be a topic for Champions League participants FC Copenhagen.
The Danish champions are looking for a successor following the departure of head coach Jess Thorup last Monday. Though Thorup led Copenhagen to the league title and group stage of the Champions League, the recent low has forced them to retire.
Kohfeldt, who looked after Werder Bremen from 2017 to 2021, among other things, has already gained experience in the Champions League. In 2021 he was already coaching VfL Wolfsburg in the “premier class”, but was eliminated with the “Wolves” in Salzburg Group G as the group last.
