Despite the complaints of the French authorities, disney has not changed its plans: if Strange World will be released in theaters in the United States, it will only arrive on Disney+ in France, to avoid being subjected to the law of media chronology and delaying too long in arriving on the video-on-demand service. He will also be called home Avalonia, the Strange Journey.
Despite everything, the entertainment giant continues to promote across the Atlantic and in France as if nothing had happened, with exciting new trailer. We find there them Clydea dysfunctional family who will have to go on an expedition to a distant planet to save his. Search (Jake Gyllenhaal), his wife Meridian (Gabrielle Union) and her son Ethan (Jaboukie Young-White) will however find during their quest Jaeger (Dennis Quaid), a goofy grandfather who should be able to help them. And for the moment, apart from a beautiful science fiction adventure, the trailer does not reveal much concrete about the scenario and the adventures that await them.
Avalonia, the strange journeydirected by Don Hall (The New Heroes) and Qui Nguyen (Raya and the Last Dragon), is scheduled for November 23, 2022 in the USA, but does not yet have a release date on Disney+ in France. You can still subscribe to the service for €8.99 per month or €89.99 per year.
