Madeline will cause strong punctual rains in Baja California Sur and isolated rains in Baja California. Its circulation will generate winds with gusts of 50 to 60 km/h and waves of 1 to 3 meters high on the southern coast of Baja California Sur.

Likewise, they will cause winds with gusts of 60 to 70 kilometers per hour (km/h) and waves of 2 to 4 meters (m) in height on the southern coast of Baja California Sur, and gusts of 50 to 60 km/h with waves from 1 to 3 m on the coasts of Jalisco, Nayarit, Sinaloa and the southern Gulf of California Sur.

The rainfall generated by this system could increase the level of rivers and streams, and cause overflows and floods in areas of the aforementioned states, for which the population and maritime navigation are urged to attend to the warnings of the National Meteorological Service, of the National Water Commission, and follow the indications of the state, municipal and Civil Protection authorities.

The population is recommended to take extreme precautions for the general population of Baja California Sur due to rain, wind and waves (including maritime navigation) and to heed the recommendations issued by the authorities of the National Civil Protection System.
