PSB opened a street basketball center in Orenburg

The street basketball center in Orenburg, with an area of ​​about 2,000 square meters, includes a full-size basketball field with all-weather coverage, five 3×3 basketball courts, mobile stands for spectators and an outdoor training area. The sports facility was built in accordance with the regulations of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), which allows international competitions to be held here.

“In 2020, we launched the First All-Russian Sports Project “PSB for Children”, and today, as part of this initiative, we opened our twelfth basketball center in Orenburg. We see the enthusiasm of young athletes for this dynamic and beautiful sport, their joy and burning eyes when they throw the ball into the ring. I am sure that this site will become an excellent springboard for Orenburg residents to achieve high goals and results.– noted Ruben Begunts. – The street basketball center is designed not only for children, adults can also play here: amateurs, professional 3×3 basketball players, as well as athletes with disabilities.”.

Outside lighting is provided along the perimeter of the center, which will allow conducting full-fledged classes even at night.

Thanks to the PSB, another center has appeared in Orenburg, where city residents can improve their health and achieve success in sports. Now more than 25 thousand people are engaged in basketball in the region. I am sure that with the advent of such a platform there will be many more of them.”.

“The first All-Russian sports project “PSB for Children” started in 2019. During its implementation, PSB Street Basketball Centers were built and opened in Novomoskovsk, Tula, Volgograd, Kaliningrad, Cheboksary, Tyumen, Stavropol, Arkhangelsk, Novokuznetsk, Izhevsk, Nalchik and Orenburg.
