Portuguese could become Bayern's Lewy replacement

Munich – Tuesday, September 20th, 2022, 09:49 am

There is currently a striker problem in Munich.

The absence of Robert Lewandowski became more and more obvious in Munich’s last games. Coach Nagelsmann also admitted after the 0-1 draw in Augsburg that he was “already thinking” about whether Bayern might need a classic center forward again.

The “Sun” brings up a candidate for the position in its Tuesday edition. According to a report in the daily, Bayern are interested in the services of Portuguese striker Goncalo Ramos.

The Benfica striker started the season with eight goals from twelve games and attracted interest from the German record champions as well as Newcastle and Manchester United.

The 21-year-old is tied to the Portuguese capital club until 2026, with Manchester United aiming for a transfer fee of 28.5 million euros, according to the report. The Bavarians should also offer similar spheres.
