On September 20, the Russian Football Union announced that the Russian team would not take part in the draw for the 2024 European Championship.

Qualification of the group stage of the qualifying tournament will be held in Frankfurt on October 9th. The European Championship will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. 24 teams will take part in the international tournament.

Earlier, Spartak striker Alexander Sobolev reacted to UEFA’s decision not to allow the Russian team to Euro 2024.
