Pupils from the Waldorf School in Heissen found human bones in the adjacent forest. On September 9, they noticed the remains, which police later confirmed were of human origin.

According to the police, the dead person could be a person who has been missing since 2016. However, the authority could not yet provide any further information on their identity. However, if the suspicion turns out to be true, then the relatives would be informed first.
