The conflict over the Qatar 2022 figurines

The conflict involves the Panini company and the kiosks, whose owners constantly complain about the lack of stock of the product and the prices. They blame the firm for favoring other sales channels such as service stations, delivery services, large companies and supermarkets, which have priority over the kiosk vendors, who have always marketed the product.

They also raised their complaint about the overprices that are paid, since there are envelopes of figurines for sale in the Internet market that are quoted between $300 and $500, more than double or triple the official price of $150. This occurs mainly in virtual stores such as Mercado Libre or Marketplace (Facebook), through which multiple virtual scams have already been reported.
