Today we explored other places along with the promises. That was sometimes witty. We had to drive on many large tracks again, luckily we were with a large group.
I did not suffer under Jasper’s authority. I do feel that I am tired now, but it is not the intention to completely destroy yourself in preparation for a world championship.
It was the last big trip before Sunday’s game. That race may well be the toughest of the year. So it is now important to keep some tension on my legs with a few coffee rides and especially to rest a lot in the room.
That sounds boring, especially when you’re on the other side of the world. But it’s the plan.
Yves has discovered that Wout has an inner rush. He always wants to do well during the training sessions. Long lingering by filling water bottles, for example, is out of the question with Wout. At the buffet, too, he goes straight for his goal: he knows what to take and returns to his seat without wasting time.
To be honest, I hadn’t noticed it yet. But Yves has an eye for that. He therefore invited Wout for a therapy session in his room. I may find out tomorrow whether Wout accepted that offer.
Jasper and I are still discussing things in the room. When we get tired of that and we can’t scroll any further on our mobiles, we get ready for a new day.
