Former midfielder of the Russian national team Andrey Arshavin commented on the decision of UEFA regarding the non-admission of the national team to the draw for the selection of Euro 2024.

September 20 RFU reportedthat the Russian team will not take part in the draw for the European Championship 2024.

Recall that UEFA excluded the Russian team from the upcoming Nations League, and also decided not to allow Russian clubs to participate in European competitions in the 2022/23 season.

Qualification of the group stage of the qualifying tournament will be held in Frankfurt on 9 October. The European Championship will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. 24 teams will take part in the international tournament.
