A 5-year-old boy was stabbed to death in his home in the town of dry Creek, in the Gran Rosario, presumably by his sister, a 13-year-old teenager, who would have suffered a “compulsive crisis”. The incident would have occurred when the children were alone in the house, judicial sources reported.

The crime was recorded on Monday afternoon, around 7:00 p.m., in a house on Calle María Garraham at 1300, in the Santa Rita neighborhood, in the northwest area of ​​the town of Arroyo Seco, 35 kilometers south of the city. from Rosario. According to the first evaluation carried out by professionals from the justice health teams, the girl would have suffered a “compulsive breakdown” during which he attacked his brother, at a time when they were alone in the house where they lived with their parents.

In a statement, the Rosario Justice explained that it was arranged that the girl be treated for an “underlying mental disorder in the psychic structure in a public assistance center in Rosario.”

The mother, who had left the house to run some errands, found the child already lifeless when she returned home. She was the one who called the police, the sources added. The death was verified by doctors from the Public Emergency Service (SIES), who arrived at the scene.

The child had 11 stab wounds to the back and one to the neck area, said forensic experts from the Criminal Investigation Agency (ACI) who worked at the crime scene. At the scene, investigators seized a knife, cell phones and clothing from both brothers.

The case was in charge of the Juvenile Court 2, whose head, Michael Surracoordered that the adolescent be treated by interdisciplinary teams of professionals from the Provincial Directorate of Mental Health and the Directorate for the Promotion of the Rights of Children, Adolescents and Family.

The mayor of Arroyo Seco, Nisar Esper, pointed out that the community, in which around 30,000 people live, is “dismayed” with what happened. “Here we all know each other and this is terrible”he explained.

Esper confirmed that the victim’s father is an employee of the administration, and that when the crime occurred he was working.
