Dallas – Monday 09/19/2022 07:53
The Cincinnati Bengals (0-2) also lose their second game of the season. Last season’s Super Bowl loser suffered a 17:20 loss at the Dallas Cowboys (1-1).
The Cowboys got off to a flying start without injured quarterback Dak Prescott and, thanks to touchdowns from Brown and Pollard, were already leading 14-3 after the first quarter.
The guests from Cincinnati bravely fight back and equalize in the last quarter to 17:17. Cowboys kicker Maher made the decision in regulation time with a 50-yard field goal three seconds before the end.
Packers win prestige duel, season out for Lance
The Green Bay Packers (1-1) write for the first time after the weak start. In the prestige duel against the Chicago Bears (1-1), Aaron Rodgers’ team celebrates a 27:10 triumph.
The Green Bay team owed the win to an incredibly strong second quarter, in which they picked up 21 of their 27 points of the evening with two touchdowns from Aaron Jones and one from Allen Lazard.
Bears quarterback Justin Fields personally scored Chicago’s only touchdown on his team’s first drive, and a field goal by Santos in the third quarter is the toothless Bears’ only other point.
The San Francisco 49ers (1-1) had a bitter pill to swallow. In the 27:7 victory over the Seattle Seahawks (1-1), Quarterback Trey Lance injured his ankle and therefore had to end the season early (You can find out more here>>>).
