Saúl 'Canelo' Álvarez will undergo surgery on his left hand

Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez is very happy with the unanimous decision win against Gennady Golovkin, but now he will have to undergo surgery on his left hand, remaining inactive from fights until 2023.

Álvarez has an injury to his hand from the Caleb Plant fight in November 2021.

“I have to have surgery on my hand. They have to clean my hand, it will be with a laser and it will take me six weeks to recover,” said ‘Canelo’ after the fight against GGG.
