Núñez Feijóo already applies his tax reduction policies through the Autonomous Communities governed by the PP

Since he took charge of the Popular Party as its president, Alberto Nunez Feijoo has put on the table the rdiscounts of taxes as a formula to get out of the current economic crisis caused by inflation and the war in Ukraine. In the territories controlled by the ‘popular’, the guidelines of the Galician leader are being fulfilled: tax cuts and their announcements are a common note in the autonomies in the hands of the right.

The last case is Andalusia. Its president, Juanma Moreno, announced this Monday that she will abolish the estate taxfollowing in the wake of Madrid (a region where he has been ‘disappeared’ since 2004).

As explained by the ‘baron’ of the PP, this measure will be accompanied by a deflation of personal income tax, one of the main tax claims that Núñez Feijóo and his people demand on a national scale.

Madrid also has in perspective apply this measure. Specifically, the region wants to start applying the IRPF deflation (it will be 4.4%) this year, according to what Javier Fernández-Lasquetty advanced this Saturday. In addition, the region will extend the discounts on Donations and Inheritance taxes to other groups.

Murcia also follows this path. The Mediterranean Executive, led by Fernando López Miras, will also address the deflation of personal income tax, but it will do so in 2023.

For his part, Alfonso Rueda, president of the Xunta de Galicia, will also be faithful to the tax reduction route. In his case, in addition to a reduction of personal income tax in the lowest income bracketthere will be new tax credits for households with two or more children.

Castilla y León has also focused on the most humble homes. Your president, Alfonso Fernandez Manuecohas promised to lower personal income tax by 2023 for the lowest incomes.

In the case of personal income tax deflation, even regions with a socialist government are considering it, such as the Canary Islands. In others like the Basque Country, the PNV will apply this measure in collusion with the Basque socialists.
