Ilona Kuśmierska-Kocyłak was born on June 16, 1948 in Zabrze. In 1970, she graduated from the State Higher School of Theater in Warsaw. She was not only an actress, but also a dubbing director. The role of Jadźka Pawlakowa in the trilogy of Sylwester Chęciński was the most popular for her: “Sami swoi”, “Nie ma mocnych” and “Love or throw”.
The immediate cause of death was not officially announced. Her husband informed about the actress’s departure on his Facebook.
“Goodbye, my dear, you passed away so suddenly and unexpectedly … Yesterday you were playing near Wrocław in the company of the Sami Swoi Family, on the anniversary of its foundation …” – begins Ireneusz Kocyłak.
“You were happy, you remembered the triptych of Sylwester Chęciński, close to your heart … Happy, you returned to Warsaw at night to kiss your youngest granddaughter, who had just turned two, the next day, to embrace your four-year-old grandson, beloved son and daughter-in-law. But you did not live to see your wound … Filled with love for us and for the world, my heart suddenly stopped beating. The most terrible thing is that it is so early and unexpected “- she describes sadly.
