Fountas defends himself:

Vienna – Monday, September 19, 2022, 9:15 p.m

Taxiarchis Fountas is said to have insulted his opponent with the “N-word” at the MLS game between Inter Miami and DC United, and now he is responding to the allegations.

The Greek is said to have insulted Jamaican-born Miami fielder Damian Lowe with the “worst word in the world” during an altercation, as Miami coach Phil Neville put it.

The ex-Rapidler himself explained to the “Crown“: “Such words are not included in my usage. I strongly object to being called a racist. In my circle of friends there are people of different nationalities and origins. I strongly reject racism and find it despicable.”
