Vienna – Monday, September 19, 2022, 3:06 p.m

According to a media report, former Austria-Vienna coach Thomas Letsch is to become the new coach of German Bundesliga club VfL Bochum.

According to information from “Bild”, the club has already reached an agreement with the 54-year-old, who is currently training the Dutch first division club Vitesse Arnhem. The transfer fee is still being negotiated.

Letsch held various positions at Red Bull Salzburg and FC Liefering for five years from 2012 to 2017. From February 2018 to March 2019 he coached Vienna Austria and has been in charge of Arnhem since 2020.

After six defeats in six games, Bochum had parted ways with their promotion coach Thomas Reis. In the first and probably only game under interim coach Heiko Butscher there was a 1-1 draw against 1. FC Köln on Sunday, the first point of the season.
