Panama- A total of 1,040 packages rectangular of presumed cocaine that were seized by the authorities, after they located them inside a containedr during a diligence raid and search carried out in a port from the province of Western Panama.
During the operation, which was advanced by units of the National Police in coordination with staff from the West Panama Drug Prosecutor’s Office, it was determined that the containerwhich was on board of one boathad like dfate end town Helsinki in the republic of Finland, located in Northern Europe.
The packages of drugs were located inside several briefcases, mainly from light bluewhich were placed on the merchandise boxes that was legally transported to the European continent.
After completing the operation, the entire illicit substance was put to Public Ministry orders for the beginning of the iinvestigations through which the authorities hope to determine the origin of it, what criminal organization is involved in this case, and if the container it was contaminated in Panama or in your country of origin.
So far this year, the estates dand public security have already seized more than 90 tons of drugyes, by 342 operations against him drug trafficking and have apprehended 317ccitizens Panamanians Y 153 foreignerslinked to this crime, as confirmed by the Ministry of Security.
