The driver of a BMW lost control of his car and crashed into a tree. In Gelsenkirchen 26 emergency services were involved in the operation.
Gelsenkirchen: BMW driver crashes into a tree
On Sunday evening, September 18, the fire brigade responded to an accident on Willy-Brandt-Allee in the direction of Münsterstrasse. A few moments earlier, a BMW driver lost control of his car due to the rain and crashed into a tree.
While the driver was uninjured and was able to leave the accident car on his own, the passenger had to be freed by the emergency services. The person sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, so paramedics escorted her to a hospital.
In the meantime, the police completely closed Willy-Brandt-Allee in the direction of Münsterstraße for the rescue and security measures.
