The judge federal court, María Eugenia Capuchetti, denied him release to the fourth detainee for the attack against Cristina KirchnerNicholas Gabriel Carrizo. According to the magistrate, releasing the accused could hinder the investigation. Carrizo is suspected of having cooperated in planning the try murder that happened in Recoleta.
“In the case of regaining his freedom, there are well-founded, sufficient and reasonable circumstances, beyond the sole consideration of the criminal scale, to consider that Nicolás Gabriel Carrizo could hinder this investigation and/or frustrate the actions of justice, eventually evading the same,” Capuchetti said in statements quoted by Telam.
“In short, the particular situation of Nicolás Gabriel Carrizo shows that the so-called procedural risks, far from being conjured, are latent and it is reasonable to assume the realization and materialization of them by the named,” explained the judge in a disclaimer clear and concise that it had the support of the complaint of Cristina Kirchner and the prosecutor Carlos Rívolo.
“By virtue of the foregoing, in accordance with what was ruled by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the complaint and taking into account that, for the moment, there are procedural risks that cannot be neutralized with other means of coercion less harmful than imprisonment, I will have to reject the request made,” insisted Capuchetti.
The leader of the copitos gang will receive psychological help
The judge in charge ordered the Airport Security Police (PSA) that the new detainee be provided with the necessary means for “psychological support”. In the same framework, he asked the forces to take all precautions for “the purpose of safeguarding his physical integrity, as was arranged in a timely manner with respect to the remaining defendants.” For now, everything indicates that it was a gang that planned an attack in previous days that finally failed due to poor handling of the weapon by Fernando Sabag Montiel.
