The French Federation thumbed down Galtier’s contract with PSG

The Ligue 1 started this friday with Lyon’s 2-1 win over Ajaccio. And this Saturday it will be the turn of the defending champion, paris st germain, take to the pitch against Clermont to start your journey this league season. However, the Parisian team received unexpected news at the time of their first match: the French Federation (FFF) lowered the thumb to the contract of his trainer Christopher Galtier.

As reported by L’Equipe, the coach lost his UEFA Pro diploma, which must be renewed every three seasons, and that is why he could have problems sitting on the bench of the Parisian team. However, he has a possibility to temporarily reverse the situation: write a letter to the FFF committing to renew your UEFA license as soon as possible and, thus, be able to extend the last one obtained.

In this sense, the French media reported that Galtier will be in PSG’s debut at 16 (ESPN) as a visitor. In fact, the technical director, who comes from directing Nice and who was champion with Lille two years ago, would complete the corresponding course in the FIFA Date break scheduled for September.

The curious thing is that Galtier was directing PSG in the title that Leo Messi and company won the French Super Cup, which they won by beating Nantes 4-0 (two from Neymar, one from Leo and one from Sergio Ramos) in the tournament played in Israel.

Without Icardi or Mbappé

Galtier’s arrival at the Paris Saint Germain bench led to the thought from the beginning that Icardi would lose his place in the coach’s consideration. As in the pre-season friendlies he gave him a few minutes and no offer appeared for him to emigrate in the transfer market, the panorama seemed clearer for MI9, but he did not have action in the French Super Cup last weekend and this Saturday, in the visit to Clermont, he will not even sit among the substitutes.

Not even the loss of Kylian Mbappé (muscle fatigue in the adductors) made Icardi a place on a list in which both Lionel Messi and Leandro Paredes appear. In this way, Pablo Sarabia, Arnaud Kalimuendo, a boy from the Inferiores who promises a lot or the newcomer Hugo Ekitike, who would make his debut, could appear to accompany Leo and Neymar in the attack.
