The private TV station RTL went on the air on January 2, 1984 in Germany. At that time the station was called RTL plus. The abbreviation “RTL” is derived from the name “Radio Television Luxembourg”. The TV station was created as an offshoot of the German-language radio program “Radio Luxemburg”.

show description

As Germany’s most famous dog expert Martin Ruetter known and in demand throughout the country. When he’s not giving training sessions or filming for TV formats such as “The Puppies are Coming”, the expert likes to drop by the fans on site with his stage program.

But life on the road isn’t quite as glamorous as most people think. A video from the backstage area leaves the followers of Martin Ruetter shudder.

Martin Rütter is disgusted by his food: “Fried wombat shit!”

On Instagram, Martin Rütter shows what awaits him behind the scenes after a performance. A delicious buffet is usually set up for the artists at concerts or similar events in the backstage area.

In this case, however, what the dog professional is served is anything but appetizing. The clip shows a plate with three components: several slices of vegan cheese, salami and falafel on a skewer. All of it doesn’t look fresh though, quite the opposite.

“By far the best thing on tour is when you have an organizer who provides you with love,” scoffs Martin Rütter. In his view, the cheese is more like a “dried wafer that the dog rejected”. The 52-year-old describes the salami as a “printed piece of roofing felt” and he associates the falafel patties with “deep-fried wombat shit”.
