Deutsche Bahn: HERE travelers should have free travel even after the 9-euro ticket
The 9-euro ticket has developed into a real success story in recent weeks. Thousands use the practical ticket. All the more annoying that the inexpensive Deutsche Bahn– Tariff only applies in August.

Deutsche Bahn: 9-euro ticket is in the final sprint
Since June, travelers have been able to get from A to B cheaply with the 9-euro ticket and use it in a variety of ways. The discounted offer of the German train however off. While the federal government is rejecting an extension, some local transport associations have come up with an alternative.
Such as the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr (VRR), the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg (VRS), the Aachener Verkehrsverbund (AVV) and the Westfalentarif, which together cover a large part of the rail network in NRW. The so-called “subscription campaign” applies to passengers from this federal state in September and October.
According to the NRW Ministry of Transport and the transport companies, existing subscription users as well as newcomers will then benefit from the discounted tickets. So if you have a monthly ticket from the respective transport provider, you can travel throughout the state on the days of the campaign. Nothing changes in the price. It is also possible to take people and bicycles with you free of charge on the relevant dates.

The ticket is valid on all weekends during the campaign period, from Saturday 3 a.m. to Monday 3 a.m. In addition, travelers can also get cheaply from A to B on German Unity Day (3 October). The tariff also covers the autumn holidays in NRW (October 4th to 14th).
