In the clip, which as expected went viral, the young woman recounts that, thinking that the point was the comma, using Payment Market typed 170 thousand pesos (Argentines) instead of 170 pesos.
“My dad told me: ‘go buy the bread for the choripán on Sunday’. I go to the bakery and ask him for two flautas (baguette-style bread), which cost 170 pesos. However, the tiktoker did not realize the enormous amount she had paid for just two loaves, but it was her mother who almost gave her a heart attack when she saw the payment notification at the bakery.
After that, Greta contacted Mercado Pago and her card bank, which asked her to go to the establishment where he had bought the loaves to see if they could reimburse him.
