The population that is interested in putting their artistic talent into practice will be received with all the necessary materials to create their paintings, such as easels and canvases, in addition, there will be presentations by popular artists such as Luis Filocua. The director of the Municipal Institute of Culture Culiacán, Alonso Ramirez, extended his invitation to citizenship. “We want to invite all children, youth, adults, those who are very talented or who want to develop their artistic talent and take advantage of this beautiful natural area.”
In order to provide the necessary inspiration to Sinaloan artists, it is like Alonso Ramirez devised this activity. “The main purpose of the program is to get to know the talent that exists in Culiacán and provide the tools to develop this talent, but also to raise awareness that these areas must be preserved so that future generations can enjoy them,” he declared.
The IMCC director hopes that painting Narnia mark the beginning of a new series of programs in the municipality where the natural treasures of the region continue to be celebrated through art. “We want this activity to be replicated in other public spaces in the city, then we will probably take it to places like El Puente Negro, la Lomita or the Cathedral,” he said.
