Started the date 12 of the tournament of the Professional Football League, with several teams that look askance at the table of averages because, after this tournament, there will be two direct relegations. At the start of this day, Patronato played, one of the most committed, which after the triumph over Boca equalized goalless away against Banfield.
In this way, the aforementioned Board of Trustees and Aldosivi, which receives Huracán in Mar del Plata on Sunday, remain in decline. Central Córdoba (receives Defense on Monday), Godoy Cruz (lost 2-0 with Gimnasia), Arsenal (receives leader Atlético Tucumán), Sarmiento (beat Lanús 2-1) and Platense (visits Boca on Sunday) are the others more committed.
Although many dates are still missing, each point that is added -and those that are not, too- will be key in the fight at the bottom of the average table.

The current table of averages contemplates:
1) First Division Championship – Superliga 2019/2020 (the tournament that Boca snatched from River on the last date).
2) 2020 Super League Cup (Computing only date 1, prior to the pandemic)
3) Points obtained in the General Table of Positions 2021.
4) Points obtained in the General Position Table 2022 (the current one).
How is the red zone of the averages?
The table of averages.
For now they are going downhill Board of Trustees (1,000) and Aldosivi (1,080). Central Córdoba (1,092), Godoy Cruz (1,114), Arsenal (1,126), Sarmiento (1,156), Platense (1,159), Atlético Tucumán (1,221), Banfield (1,227) and Huracán (1,241) then appear.
If at the end of the 2022 Season, two or more teams equal the average points to define the relegations, a playoff match will be held.
Not a minor fact: the accumulated points will serve for the averages in 2023, the year in which there will be four teams that will descend.
Of the 28 teams, there are four that divide by fewer games than the rest. Two are Platense and Sarmiento, promoted in 2021. And the other two are Tigre and Barracas Central, who joined in 2022.
After the 2022 LPF Tournament, the Champions Trophy is scheduled to be disputed, a final that has official validity but does not grant classification to any other competition, national or international. It will be played on a neutral court, in a single match, between the two champions of the year, the LPF Cup and the LPF Tournament.
In the event that the winner is the same in both competitions, the second finalist will emerge from a playoff match, which must be played by the runner-up of the LPF Cup and the team that finishes in second place in the 2022 LPF Tournament. In the case of being the same team that has been second in both competitions, it will be the one who will dispute the final of the mentioned trophy. It is scheduled to be played on November 6 (without being summoned to the World Cup, of course).
On April 19, at a meeting of the Executive Committee of the League headed by Claudio Tapia, the president of the AFA reported that the funds contributed by Conmebol will be used to reward the champions of the different competitions. In this sense, it was proposed to distribute the million dollars in the following way: 250,000 dollars for the winner of the League Cup, another 250,000 green for the winner of the 2022 LPF Tournament and US $ 500,000 for the team that is consecrated in the Argentine Cup.
