The first rays of sunshine came out in February. This month, the rush to the ice cream parlors is still limited, but even then the popular Bellizzi ice cream parlor in Oberhausen had to send a bitter message to its loyal visitors via Facebook: “Unfortunately, we are not able to allow consumption within the premises “.

The large fruit sundae with a good portion of cream or delicious waffles are only available to take away this year. “Pity. I miss your delicious waffles,” writes a disappointed customer. But why can’t the interior be used? It can’t be due to the Corona requirements.

Oberhausen: THAT is behind it

When asked by “WAZ”, an employee of the ice cream parlor explained the reason for the closure: “We have been desperately looking for new staff since February, but we simply cannot find any new people.”
