‘Kaiju No. 8’ is one of the manga of the moment and will finally have its anime adaptation: the first teaser threatens the arrival of giant monsters

Once a manga starts to get a bit of traction, the anime adaptation doesn’t take too long to arrive. ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’, ‘Spy x Family’ and the upcoming ‘Chainsaw Man’ have been some of the most popular manga that have recently received their own anime, and now ‘Kaiju No. 8‘ finally joins the list of manga bombings with its own animated adaptation.

A cocktail of horror and science fiction

‘Kaiju No. 8‘ began to be published in the Shonen Jump+ from Shueisha in July 2020 and for now it has 7 volumes. the sleeve of Naoya Matsumoto has become one of the most popular titles on the platform by recovering the stories of kaijus and proposing a story that mixes adventure and science fiction with a touch of horror.

As confirmed at this year’s Crunchyroll Expo, Toho Studios will handle the production of the anime. The project has just been confirmed and there is still no release date, so as soon we would have to wait until the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024 so that we can see it.

For now, only a small teaser has been released to confirm that the anime is underway, although unfortunately there is nothing in sight with animation or a montage with the manga drawing.

‘Kaiju No. 8’ presents us with a present where the monsters known as kaiju they often attack the populations of Japanso a Defense Force has been created to kill them.
