Grands without defense. Preview of the match of the 4th round of the RPL Krasnodar – Lokomotiv

At the handsome stadium of Sergei Galitsky on Saturday, two giants will meet, going through a period of restructuring and renovation. The Bulls are looking for themselves again. Fans are used to always playing attacking combinational football, but after the exodus of legionnaires in the spring and the forced transition to their own pupils, it became more difficult to do this.

In the summer, some people returned (for example, Christian Ramirez), and yet we no longer see the quality in the middle of the field that was in previous years. It is no coincidence that even Rostov (57%) and Sochi (56.8%) wards of Alexander Storozhuk bypass in terms of possession of the ball (53.4%) wards.

Things are even more difficult in the center of defense, where 21-year-old Vyacheslav Litvinov (270 minutes), 23-year-old Sergei Borodin (180) and 26-year-old Yegor Sorokin (90) played in the first rounds. As a result, seven (!) goals conceded in three matches, a negative goal difference, four points scored and a place in the middle of the table. And this is in the presence of the magnificent Matvey Safonov at the gate!

Loko also found itself in an unenviable position at the start of the season – Daniil Khudyakov has to take the balls out of the net even more often (8 conceded). In the opening round, Vyacheslav Krotov, who had not scored in the RPL for more than a year, hit him, then Rostovites scored two goals in Cherkizovo, and in St. Petersburg in the last half hour the champion scored as many as five … Hardly anyone will be surprised if Marinato Guilherme plays in this game.

Two points in three rounds is not at all what Marvin Compper’s team was counting on, so in Krasnodar they will be extremely angry. True, without Dmitry Barinov, who has been removed in St. Petersburg, one mood may not be enough.

A noteworthy fact: the teams occupy the first two places in the RPL in terms of the percentage of riding martial arts won (62.3% for Loko and 59.4% for Krasnodar), so in a face-to-face meeting, one of the coaches will probably try to put the ball down, which somewhat slow down and complicate the development of attacks.

7 wins for Krasnodar, 3 draws and 12 wins for Lokomotiv with a goal difference of 27-31

The overall head-to-head statistics are in favor of the railway workers, however, in Krasnodar, the hosts have not lost since 2016. Since then, they have four wins and a draw with a goal difference of 11-2!

“Krasnodar”: Safonov – Volkov, V. Litvinov, Borodin, Ramirez – Chernikov, Banyats – M. Suleymanov, Spertsyan, Ionov – Cordoba.

“Locomotive”: Guilherme – Zhivoglyadov, Magkeev, Edvay, Nenakhov – Karpukas, Kulikov – Kerk, Miranchuk, Kamano – Isidore.

The analysts of BC “Melbet” consider the hosts to be a minor favorite in this pair. The coefficient for their victory is 2.515while the railroad victoria goes for 2.86and a draw for 3.72.

Based on the statistics of meetings and the overall impression of the teams, we do not see the assumption of Krasnodar’s victory as a big risk. At the same time, the teams will surely please the fans with goals scored – their problems in defense and the presence of other factors speak in favor of this: the “citizens” took penalties in all three (!) matches, and “Loko” has a strong scorer Wilson Isidor.

In addition, the total over 2.5 came in all of Krasnodar’s games in the season and in two out of three matches involving railroad workers. Thus, we recommend P1 and total over 2.5 for 3.5.

Forecast of “Soviet Sport”: the victory of “Krasnodar” + total over 2.5 with a coefficient 3.5.
