Mexico.- The Derbez dynasty is unrivaled when it comes to comedy movies and its members have shown it on different occasions. this time it is Aislinn Derbez who becomes the center of attention after his latest project, which premiered on Netflix.

The movie “What is the fault of karma” has become one of the great successes of the streaming platformhitting her Top 10 within hours of its release, adding another hit to Aislinn’s career.

What is “Karma’s fault” about?

The Netflix original film tells the story of Sara Escribano, played by Aislinn Derbez, a fashion designer, also the owner of a souvenir shop, who believes that her sister Lucy, played by Renata Notni, cursed her and that is what has unlucky in all aspects of your life.

According to her version, the problem began with a birthday celebration for Lucy, when they were both girls, the date on which Sara blew out the candles on her cake before her and took center stage. At which point her sister cursed her and assured her that she would keep all of her wishes for the rest of her lives.

Despite being a childish anger, for the protagonist it went further, the moment that changed her life, because from there she attributes all her ills to said action.

The story takes a strong turn when Lucy introduces her family to her fiancé, curiously, Sara’s ex-boyfriend, Aaron, played by Gil Cerezo, with whom she was deeply in love.

While dealing with all the feelings, at the same time she must make her sister’s wedding dress, facing the arrival of Roberto, the actor Giuseppe Gamba, her virtual boyfriend, making a comedy that no one wanted to miss.

Currently, “What is the fault of karma”, is ranked fourth in the most watched Netflix in several Latin American countries, capturing the attention of users of the streaming platform.
