Firefighters completely extinguished the fire at the Ozon warehouse in the Moscow region. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The fire, which started at 12:30 pm on 3 August, was extinguished at 5:45 am on 4 August. The fire covered an area of ​​55 thousand square meters; the roof collapsed on an area of ​​22,000 square meters in the building.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations explained that extinguishing the fire was complicated by the design features of the building and hot weather.

As a result of the incident, 11 people were injured, two of them were hospitalized.

As previously reported, arson and a malfunction of electrical equipment were considered as the main versions of the fire.
