Culiacán, Sinaloa.- The state and municipal leaders of the PRD remain outside the offices of Prophecy in Culiacán and they already fulfilled 24 hour sit-inand they ask Governor Rubén Rocha Moya to authorize a subsidy for the price of a kilogram of tortilla and keep it at 23 pesos for the consumer, as well as this dependency to verify and avoid the alteration of prices that are registered in supermarkets, businesses that sell food and gas stations.

During this Tuesday, no official of this dependency has appeared to start a dialogue with the protesters, and the decision to continue in the fight until obtaining a response from the authority is maintained, said the state president of the PRD, Oner Lazcano López.

He ratified the request that the increase in the products of the basic basket be stopped, although the federal and state governments assure that they do not set food prices, in the case of tortillas, the dough manufacturers are the ones who increase prices. costs of corn flour and it is the tortilla makers who have to transfer this adjustment to consumers.

The state government has to intervene and make an approach with the industrialists, and it could be a subsidy so that they stop raising the price of inputs to produce the tortilla.

He also said that more work is required from Profeco to monitor that in establishments, supermarkets and even gas stations, complete kilograms and liters are sold, that in itself, products that are fully sold are expensive and do their job. of Inspection.

A few days ago, they went to verify the offers of some supermarkets and realized that the cashiers did not want to make the discounts effective, and for this reason, it was concluded that Profeco is not doing its job.
